Reviewing the Madden NFL 10 Xbox 360 game is always a lot of fun because there is a new one released every year. The gameplay is often the same, but sometimes the Madden franchise surprises with some great new features.
This particular edition has a play calling system and new menu options. This makes gameplay run more smoothly. It also makes use of something called Pro-Tak animation technology. This means you can drag and drop players, and make things as realistic as possible.
Keep in mind that unlike many of the other games we feature here at Kid’s Video Games, this one is best for older children. It’s not that there is much in the way of objectionable material, it’s just that the controls are best for those who are adept at playing video games, and who understand the rules of football.
With that said, this is definitely a must have for any girl or boy (or adult!) who is a true football fan. It has all of the teams you know and love. You can also make your own teams, with a variety of features that make this the best football game out for the Xbox 360 right now.
The components included in this game are simply mind-blowing. It has real NFL scheduling, live fantasy drafts, player transactions, league message boards, and other features. It’s a lot of fun to use these different functions, but it can be educational as well for your child to learn how to manage it all.
Reviewers note that while the interface provides a ton of options, it can be a little clunky to use. Be sure to go over everything with kids on the younger end of the spectrum if they are interested in this game. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but this 2010 edition is thought to be much better than those that were out in year’s past.
