I’m disappointed Nintendo is looking at DLC.
Once a company starts announcing DLC, I feel like I’m getting less of a game with the original launch. It’s gotten to the point where I deliberately wait for the Game of the Year Edition – and this will probably do more harm to the pubs/devs.
That is even if they sell the GOTY ed for 40 – as the same as last years “stripped” down version – due to inflation 40 last year is worth more than it is this year.
Admittedly I don’t think Nintendo will do a GOTY with NSMB2 – but I do wonder if this would be the beginning of the slope.
