Nintendo’s 3DS system got off to a bad start when it released last year, with a mostly lackluster launch line-up and lack of features for the system. But now, finally, it seems to have gained its footing with some stellar game releases, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land, amongst others. And while its showing at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo wasn’t the greatest, there are still some great games to look forward to.
So here now are five prime picks we absolutely can’t wait for when it comes to taking up our action on the go for fun with the 3DS. These definitely need to come out sooner rather than later…but luckily we won’t have to wait feverishly long…
Rayman Origins (Ubisoft)
Though Ubisoft did just delay this upcoming game till later in the year, there’s no question that Rayman Origins is worth getting excited for. Featuring all the platforming fun found in previous versions, but with a fresh new 3D take that really brings Rayman and his beloved world to life, it’s bound to be a huge hit for the 3DS when it arrives. If you need further convincing, there’s a downloadable demo now available that lets you try out three levels from the game. Have at it!
